Ooook! presents Terry Pratchett's Hogfather

Help to protect the Lamandau Wildlife Reserve and provide a future for orangutans, forests and people.

Story

Ooook! is back with our annual Discworld play to raise money for the Orangutan Foundation; this year with Terry Pratchett's Hogfather adapted by Stephen Briggs.

Ooook! is a friendly and outreaching theatre company open to all newcomers, and have no qualms about taking on thus far untested talent; in fact we actively recruit it. Proceeds from all Ooook! productions go to charity, with over £23,500 raised to date.

We're helping to protect the Lamandau Wildlife Reserve and provide a future for orangutans, forests and people.

Donating to this cause actively protects:

158,144 acres of tropical peat forest (one acre is the approximate size of a football pitch) in Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo.

Over 600 critically endangered orangutans - a number which continues to increase as more are rescued and released

Thousands of threatened species including gibbons, pangolins, clouded leopards, sun bears and proboscis monkeys.

36.5 million tonnes of stored carbon.

The future of Bornean orangutans will very much depend on the long-term security of large, strictly-protected forests - The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species 2016.
