We are II(AC) Squadron and 140 Expeditionary Air Wing, currently deployed on Operation CHESSMAN in Poland, supporting NATO’s Air Policing mission. While away from home, we’re proud to be taking part in RAFA Rides—a 100-mile annual cycling challenge that tests physical and mental resilience and unites the RAF community across the globe.

We’re riding in support of the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA), a charity that does incredible work supporting serving and former RAF personnel and their families. Whether it’s helping an injured aviator on the road to recovery, comforting a child missing a deployed parent, or being there for a WWII veteran in need of companionship—RAFA is always ready to lend a hand.
