Cyrenians tackles the causes and consequences of homelessness across Edinburgh & Lothians, Falkirk, and the Scottish Borders, delivering services that focus on prevention, early intervention, and support into a home.

One of our key projects, the OPAL (Opportunities for Active Lives) service, has been operating for 13 years in West Lothian, supporting more than 500 people each year to age well, remain independent, and stay connected within their communities.

Through personalised support, we enable people to remain independent, stay connected to their communities, and avoid preventable hospital admissions that can too often result in the loss of confidence, independence, and even their home.
