🚴♂️ Ride Suffolk Sunrise 2026 – Going Bigger for Action Medical Research
Last year, I took on Ride Suffolk Sunrise solo on my hardtail and raised an incredible £510 for Action Medical Research.
The support was unreal — and knowing every mile helped fund vital research for sick and disabled children made it all worth it.
This year… it’s different.
In 2026, I won’t be riding alone. I’ll be taking on the challenge alongside my MTB mate Grant, coming up from Birmingham, turning this into a proper two-man mission.
And we’re not making it easy on ourselves…
We’ll be riding the full 42 miles on full-suspension enduro mountain bikes — bikes built for rough trails, jumps, and downhill… not long stretches of tarmac.
Which means:
Heavier bikes
Slower rolling MTB tyres
Suspension working against us on the road
And a lot more effort for every single mile
Last year was tough. This year will be tougher.
But that’s exactly why we’re doing it.
Last year, I proved I could do it solo.
This year, we’re pushing it further — together.
🎯 Our goal: £1,000 for charity
We’ll also be sharing parts of the ride live, so you can follow along, see the struggle, and be part of the journey as it unfolds.
Early start. Big miles. The wrong bikes for the job.
But all for the right reason.
Every donation — big or small — helps fund life-changing research and supports children and families who truly need it.
If you can donate, thank you. If not, sharing this goes a long way 🙌
