OPA's fundraiser for Supershoes

Rebecca Morris is raising money for Supershoes

Yorkshire 3 Peaks · 24 May 2025

Keeping children active during cancer treatment is key to their mental wellbeing and at Supershoes we personalise footwear to help get kids on their feet to boost wellbeing, restore a sense of self and remind them of the things they love. This isn't about cancer this is about Super Kids!

Story

OPA are fundraising for 'Supershoes' by climbing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on May 24th.

Supershoes is a charity that is empowering children fighting cancer in the UK, by enhancing their physical and emotional wellbeing whilst raising awareness.

Children are at the heart of what we do at OPA; Supershoes currently reaches 1 in 5 of all children in the UK with a cancer diagnosis by giving the unique gift of a customised pair of Supershoes to a child with cancer.

As a charity that started off life locally, it was selected by our Academy Ambassadors as their charity of the year and we would be very grateful in your support in raising money to help bring smiles to children suffering with cancer. Thank you.
