We're getting married! Wahoo!

In celebration of our big day, we know that there may be some of you who would love to give us a gift. If that's you, please know that your love and friendship is more than enough (soppy and cliché, but very true!). But if you'd still like to give something, we'd instead love to point you to two causes very close to our hearts who will do amazing things with your generosity.

One of these causes is Open Doors. Globally, 360 million Christians suffer discrimination, rejection, attack, even death – simply because they believe in Jesus. It's a sobering statistic – one that is hard to comprehend when we live in a society that honours freedom of religion.

What touches us personally are the stories of persecuted Christians persevering and courageously holding onto their faith, despite risk, danger, loss and pain. These Christians are a constant source of inspiration and challenge to us.

So in celebration of our marriage, we'd love to raise some money for Open Doors, who do an amazing job in coming alongside those suffering for their faith by providing physical, emotional and spiritual support.
