Story
Two former Royal Marines. Over 1000km. Eight days. One final test.
September 3rd - 10th 2026
Nick and Robbie will cycle between Commando units across the UK in support of the RMA – The Royal Marines Charity.
Starting at 45 Commando in Arbroath, they will head south through 40 Commando in Taunton and on to 42 Commando in Plymouth, covering over 1000km in 7 days at an average of 160km per day.
The challenge will conclude with the 30 miler Commando Test across Dartmoor.
This will be a test of discipline, preparation and mindset as much as physical endurance.
Both have carried that standard beyond service, Robbie working in high performance training and Nick taking this on as an amputee following injuries sustained during his time in the Corps.
This is about raising funds and awareness for the RMA – The Royal Marines Charity in its 80th year anniversary and demonstrating how challenge, discipline and consistency can strengthen mindset and focus, within and beyond the Royal Marines.
