Ophelia's fundraiser for Ashmead Primary School

15km walk from St Johns to Tower Bridge
Who doesn't love trees and the chance to climb and play in them? Ashmead Primary School has plans to build an amazing tree walkway in its playground, which will be fully accessible for all abilities and users. To give the children this incredible gift, the school needs to raise a whopping £52,000!
Ophelia, aged 8, said she wanted to do something to help the school reach its goal. So she decided to walk from her home in South East London to Tower Bridge, a 15km route along the River Thames.
On a cold but sunny day in January she set out on her quest. Three hours, several snacks, a few loo stops and many laughs later, she made it!
Well done Ophelia and thank you everyone who sponsors her, for helping make the tree walk a reality.
