I have been selected to participate in Trek for Health 2025.

In February 2025 I will take on a 7-day challenge to climb to the summit of Mount Kenya. I will also visit an Amref Health Africa programme in Kenya where some of my fundraising will support.

I am one of 40 employees taking on this challenge across GSK & ViiV and we will represent 23 countries.

I am proud to take on this challenge, supporting Save the Children and Amref Health Africa because my eldest daughter did a secondment as a nursing student in a small village in Rwanda, helping some of the most deprived populations. Her experience and her testimony touched me deeply. Since then, I have secretly dreamed of one day being able to complete such a journey. Interacting with the local communities to understanding their challenges. This will give even deeper meaning to the work I do at GSK even while away from vaccine production.

Together we aim to raise over £160,000 and this will be matched by GSK.
