GSK and Save the Children have a ground-breaking partnership combining Save the Children's global reach and experience, with GSK's innovation, resources and expertise.

The goal of our partnership is to help save the lives of one million children by tackling preventable under five child mortality.

Orange United is GSK's employee engagement campaign that supports our partnership with Save the Children. Through Orange United everyone at GSK can join in and take part in fundraising activities for Save the Children. GSK matches every pound raised by employees.

So far, globally, we have raised over 2.6 million which, combined with further support from GSK, has contributed to programmes in 41 countries and helped over 2.6 million children including fully vaccinating over 97,500 children under 5, helping over 254,000 children affected by humanitarian crises, and training over 16,000 health workers.

Most recently, Save the Children’s Emergency Fund is helping children and families affected by devastating earthquakes across South America and destructive flash floods in Nepal.

In Colombia, a powerful 7.4 magnitude earthquake has caused widespread destruction and disrupted essential services, leaving children and families in urgent need of clean water, food, healthcare and safe shelter. Save the Children responded within a day, establishing safe spaces where children can learn, play and receive emotional support, while preparing hygiene kits and mobilising further assistance. With more than 40 years of experience in Colombia and strong local partnerships, teams are well placed to provide immediate support and help communities recover.

Save the Children also continues to support children and families affected by the earthquakes in Venezuela. Two months on, teams and local partners are providing healthcare, clean water, hygiene supplies, protection and safe spaces, helping children feel safe and families begin to rebuild their lives.

Save the Children are rapidly responding to a devastating flash flood in Nepal, where floodwaters have swept away villages, roads and bridges with little warning. Save are already dispatching pre-positioned emergency supplies, including mosquito nets, blankets and household essentials and a highly trained emergency health team is on it's way to support affected children and families.
