Aberdeen Kiltwalk 2025 · 1 June 2025 ·

The British Thyroid Foundation provides information and support to help people better understand and manage their condition. We also fund and support vital research into thyroid disease to improve treatments and outcomes for thyroid patients both now and in the future.

Story

Being diagnosed and living with a thyroid disorder can have a big impact on your life. Both Jon and Laura suffer from Hypothyroidism and Barbara is a Thyroid Cancer Survivor. The British Thyroid Foundation supports thousands of people across the UK living with thyroid disorders.

We are a team of 6 warriors walking the 18 mile Aberdeen to Banchory Kiltwalk to raise funds for this excellent charity. Jon, Barbara and Laura will be joined by their son/brother Duncan and his partner Órla as well as Laura’s partner Dave.

The British Thyroid Foundation works with medical professionals so that their information is reliable and evidence based. The BTF fund vital research into thyroid disease. They rely on donations and fundraising to continue our work.
