Hey Everyone!

We will be running the Hackney Half Marathon on 17th of May 2026! This will be Orla’s very first half marathon and Duncan’s second. We have both ran the Exeter Friends of MSF chapter for the past two years, and it’s an organisation we hold very close to our hearts as medical students who aspire to work for an NGO, such as MSF.

Through our involvement with MSF, we have learnt about the countless ways that they make a difference across the globe. From running a maternity hospital in Afghanistan to delivering trauma care on the frontlines of the genocide in Gaza. MSF staff work tirelessly under the most challenging of circumstances, acting with neutrality, impartiality and independence.

We hope to raise a target of £800 for Médecins Sans Frontières and would appreciate whatever amount you feel able to give. We will update this page with our training progress in the run up to event!
