We are proud to be the charity partner of the year for the Nantwich 10k 2026! Join The Joshua Tree at the start line, and together, we’ll make a difference for families affected by childhood cancers.
The Joshua Tree aims to improve the emotional health and wellbeing of families navigating the challenges of a childhood cancer diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and bereavement, ensuring that no family faces their journey alone.
By running with us, you’ll help fund essential services:
Counselling for all family members
Art and play therapy
Adult wellbeing therapy sessions
Peer support groups
Family fun events
Educational guidance
… and much more.
Our charity is unique in providing bespoke support dependent on a family’s needs with no cut off point.
Your impact:
Families like Oliver’s who was diagnosed with Philadelphia Positive T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in March 2024 rely on support from The Joshua Tree. His Dad says, “The Joshua Tree has been fundamental in trying to get some normality back in life.
They just get it. The support centre is such a safe environment for the children that some of your worries actually melt away while you are there. They give the children going through this something to look forward to.”
Sign up now to run the Nantwich 10k for The Joshua Tree. Together, we’ll ensure more families like Oliver’s receive the support they need.
When you join Team Joshua Tree, you’ll receive:
A limited-edition Joshua Tree run top
A fundraising pack with tips and advice from our friendly JT team.
A cheer squad on race day to encourage you every step of the way.
Refreshments and Medal
The Joshua Tree is a Cheshire based Children's Cancer Charity. We operate across the North West and North /Wales and are dedicated to working closely with families affected by childhood cancers. We tailor the services to suit the family’s specific needs, by means of emotional, academic and practical support, such as counselling, art and play therapy, health and well-being advice, support in and around the home and educational tutoring where required to help ensure that life remains as normal as possible during an incredibly traumatic time.
