Over 59,000 children in Gaza have been left orphaned over the course of the last over 2.5 years; 47,804 children have lost their fathers, 5,920 children have lost their mothers, 2,700 children have heartbreakingly lost both of their parents, with an estimated 17,000 children now too separated from their parents following the attacks.

Aside from the loss of parents, siblings, and loved ones following the on going ‘war’, the children are having to cope with the psychological impact of all that they have endured and witnessed since the very day that they were born due to the occupation.

One Nation are providing much needed support to the children of Gaza, that have not only lost their fathers, but all that they had owned and know.

During the blessed month of Ramadan we had raised sufficient funds to renew 5 of our collective ‘Orphan Sponsorships’ from last year which expire this month with the 1 child remaining to be supported for the year ahead.

The child sponsorship for the 1 month will cost £40, and the year will cost £480 as always, which will provide food, clothing, education, medical care, hygiene products, cash grants, psychological and emotional support, as well as anything else that they are in need of.

As we have just entered 1448 and it is the first Jumu’ah of the year and last sacred month for 6 months, it is an opportune time for us to support the orphans of Gaza, and aid them for the year ahead.
