Having completed the Brentwood and Southend Half Marathons, I'm excited to be lining up for the Basildon Half alongside Neilus McCarty from Ernest Park. It's another important step on my journey to the Amsterdam Marathon this October representing Orwell Real Estate’s fundraiser for The Children’s Society!

For 140 years, The Children's Society has stood alongside children when they need it most. Today, their work is more important than ever.

More than 4 million children in the UK are living in poverty, and 1 in 6 young people is experiencing a mental health challenge. Behind every statistic is a child who deserves support, stability and someone in their corner.

That's exactly what The Children's Society provides.

Every year, they help tens of thousands of children and young people through practical support, emotional guidance and safe spaces where they can feel heard, valued and understood.

Your donation can make a real difference. £1,000 will help fund one-to-one support sessions for young people in crisis, keep vital local drop-in services open, or cover travel and other essential costs so children can access the help they need when they need it most.

Every mile I run is for children facing challenges they shouldn't have to face alone, and every donation helps The Children's Society continue its life-changing work.
