Story

Orwell vets is taking part in this years Veterinary Month of movement (October 2023) and we are asking for your support. The whole practice is going head to head in 4 different groups to get as active as possible and raise some funds for a charity that means a lot to us. Every member of staff is participating and many of their four legged friends are as well. Any donation towards this great charity that has helped many members of the veterinary profession out when they have hit hard times would be greatly appreciated and we will do our best to show any updates of our participation. Below is some more information regarding the charity and their fundraising efforts.

Since the coronavirus outbreak began, the Vetlife Helpline has experienced a large increase in the number of contacts from people in the veterinary community seeking support. This year has been difficult for all of us, and we want to spread the message to anyone in the veterinary profession who is struggling, that whatever you're facing, you're not alone. Everyone in the vet community is welcome to speak to our Helpline, including vet nurses, students, and non-clinical staff.

Through this challenge, we aim to raise vital funds to help continue our work. The rise in demand for our 3 services brings with it an inevitable increase in costs and resources. By donating to Vetlife, you are helping to ensure we can continue to be there for all who need us.
