I was born 10 weeks early and weighed only 1lb and 13oz- the Hull NICU saved my life many times.

Now that I am in secondary school I have the opportunity to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh award. To accomplish this award I have to volunteer/fundraise and also participate in physical activity. I thought that I could join these two together and give back to something that is important to me and my family- I hope the money raised can help poorly premature babies like I was.

I am going to challenge myself in running for 1 hour per week and show that over time I am able to increase my speed! I am going to do this for a period of 3 months which will take some determination.

I am beginning this challenge on the 9/1/25 - my 14 year anniversary of the day I was discharged home!
