To celebrate our first year, we're raising money for Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals Charitable Fund!

Our campaign aims to raise £500 to help enhance facilities and support the outstanding care provided by the hospital.

Since our launch a year ago, Our Bassetlaw has grown into a vibrant online hub for local news, events, and community updates. To mark this milestone, we've decided to give back to the community by supporting a cause close to everyone’s hearts.

Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Charity is the official charity which supports the Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust which includes, Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Bassetlaw Hospital and Montagu Hospital to go above and beyond by providing additional equipment, services and amenities for our patients, visitors and staff which cannot be funded by the NHS alone. From the small things like teddy bears for children spending the night at hospital, to equipment such as iPads so patients can keep in touch with their loved ones, to the trust's first ever surgical robot, transforming the way surgeons perform cancer surgery. The charity is currently running their second capital appeal, with an ambitious aim of raising £100,000 to fund some incredible projects for the new Bassetlaw Hospital Emergency Department and Children's Assessment Unit. .

The appeal encourages donations from individuals, families, and businesses across the district. Every contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. The fundraising drive will be promoted throughout February, with regular updates shared on Our Bassetlaw’s Facebook page to keep the community informed about the progress.
