Overbury & Lancaster University take on the Skiddaw 7 Peak Challenge! · 26 March 2026

We offer professional mental health support by harnessing the healing power of nature. We bring together hill-walking, mindfulness and time with experienced coaches and counsellors in an unhurried, unpressured setting. £9.72 funds an hour of supported outdoor therapy.

Story

About the Challenge

This demanding yet rewarding trek will cover approximately 22.5km (14 mile) hike and climb to 4,100 ft, covering seven stunning peaks:

• Ullock Pike

• Long Side

• Carl Side

• Skiddaw

• Skiddaw Little Man

• Lonscale Fell

• Latrigg

It’s a tough but rewarding challenge bringing the whole team together to raise funds for meaningful causes while promoting wellbeing and team spirit!

Please help us raise money for three fantastic causes...

BrainKind

Every 90 seconds, someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with a brain injury. For many, life changes in an instant, simple things like walking, talking, or remembering loved ones can become overwhelming challenges.

BrainKind is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to helping people reclaim independence and dignity after brain injury or neurological conditions. Through specialist rehabilitation, therapy, and community support, they give people the chance to live a life well lived, not just survive.

StrongMen

Grief can take a heavy toll, triggering deep emotional pain and serious physical health issues that often go unseen, especially in men. StrongMen steps in to break that silence, giving men a voice, a safe space, and a supportive community when they need it most. Every donation helps build resilience, restore hope, and create lasting bonds of brotherhood.

Mind Over Mountains

Mind Over Mountains believes in slowing down, stepping outside, and reconnecting with nature to heal. Through guided walks, retreats, and professional support, we help people find calm, clarity, and confidence in the great outdoors. Every contribution gives someone the chance to breathe, share, and rebuild resilience, one step at a time. Let’s make mental health care accessible, restorative, and rooted in nature.
