This summer, I’m taking on the Peacehaven Cliffs Abseil, a 115ft descent down the cliffs, in memory of my beautiful baby girl, Alissa, and in support of the incredible team at Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.

Alissa was born in April 2022, and shortly after her birth, she was taken to the Trevor Mann Baby Unit (TMBU) in Brighton, where she was cared for with such compassion and dedication for five precious days. The staff at TMBU did everything they could for her, and they made sure that both Kat and I were supported every step of the way. Alissa passed away peacefully in our arms, surrounded by love.

I’ll never forget the care we received during that heart-breaking time, and now I want to give something back.

I’m proud to be supporting Rockinghorse, a Brighton-based charity that’s been helping sick and disabled children across Sussex since 1967. Founded by Dr Trevor Mann, the charity is intrinsically linked to the TMBU and continues to fund:

- Lifesaving medical equipment

- Support for families

- Child-friendly environments

Every penny raised for the TMBU fund goes directly to supporting babies and their families during the most critical moments.
