Our daughter Flossie was born on the 9th of May 2022 at 26 weeks and 4 days due to complications of pre-eclampsia. She was taken to James Cook University Hospital neonatal unit where she stayed for over 2 months being cared for by the most amazing nurses and DR’s. Me and my partner lived in the hospital during this time and Bliss was a lifeline that helped us through one of the most challenging times for both of us, being away from home, time off work etc. I will be running the 62 miles in March for my daughter Flossie and for others like her to raise money for this amazing charity that helped us when we needed it most, at our most vulnerable time.
