Story
I am taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Rosemere Cancer Foundation after my beautiful mum, Andrea Keepax, was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. Since her diagnosis, she has been under the care of the incredible team at Rosemere Cancer Centre in Preston, and the compassion, support and treatment she has received have been nothing short of exceptional.
Seeing first-hand the difference that Rosemere makes to patients and their families has inspired me to give something back. Every donation helps the foundation invest in vital equipment, facilities, research and patient support services, ensuring more families receive the outstanding care that my mum has experienced.
This challenge is my way of saying thank you to everyone at Rosemere for keeping my mum in the very best hands. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help make a real difference. Thank you so much for your kindness and support—it truly means the world to us.
Approximately 70,000 people in Lancashire and South Cumbria are currently living with cancer.
The money that Rosemere Cancer Foundation raises, with the help of people like you, supports pioneering, local clinical research projects; cutting-edge equipment; specialist training; and innovative, life-changing welfare projects for the benefit of these patients wherever they are cared for across the region, now and in the future.
