Story
Bowel cancer (colorectal cancer) is the fourth most common cancer in the UK, with over 48,000 new cases annually. It is highly treatable if found early—9 in 10 survive when detected early.
Roughly 1 in 17 men and 1 in 20 women will be diagnosed with bowel cancer during their lifetime.
Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. They fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care. They are here to stop people dying of bowel cancer.
