I was diagnosed with MS in 2018 after years of investigations for multiple symptoms, latterly foot drop that caused me to give up running. I had raised money running marathons for a number of worthy charities; now I can walk, slowly, for a charity close to my heart. The MS Society funds research into causes of MS and means of treatment and is a listening ear for patients and families.
