Story

Our story

At the Organisational Wellbeing Lab (OWL) at King’s College London, we connect research, education, and practice to improve workplace wellbeing.

So far, our work has mainly engaged master’s students in tackling real organisational challenges, and that work will continue. We are now ready to expand this model by engaging our alumni as OWL Alumni Associates.

These alumni will work with organisations on mixed-methods diagnostic projects to identify the root causes of workplace challenges and provide evidence-based recommendations. Their work includes reviewing the evidence, designing surveys, interviewing employees, analysing the data, and presenting findings and recommendations back to the organisation.

Your donation will help us create paid opportunities for alumni and build a more sustainable model through which organisational psychologists can understand workplace challenges from the perspective of employees and provide organisations with recommendations that improve employee wellbeing for the wider public benefit.

Partner organisations can also support projects through this page by donating funds for participant payments for employees who take part in research activities such as interviews.

If you are a UK taxpayer and eligible for Gift Aid, your donation may be worth more at no extra cost to you.

What your donation could support:

- £32 funds 1 hour of alumni diagnostic work

- £100 funds 1 hour of academic oversight

- £500 supports survey design and analysis

- £2,000 helps fund the interviews and qualitative analysis phase

- £4,800 helps fund one full alumni-led mixed-methods diagnostic project

Our first goal is to fund one full alumni-led project.

Thank you for helping us build the next stage of the Organisational Wellbeing Lab.
