100 (0) Mile Challenge!

We are focused on raising funds for the school to provide extra resources for the children’s learning & enjoyment. Annually we provide workshops, & the teachers a small spends budget. We also try to support Opal Play whenever we can. We are currently working on funding for emergency counselling.

Story

Feeling inspired by the National Autistic Society's 100 mile challenge, staff in Oysters SRP are setting their own challenge and looking to walk a total of 1000 miles (as a team) throughout October.

Throughout the month, we hope to inspire our children whilst raising money for a superb cause. With a total of 13 adults taking part across Oysters SRP, we are working together as a team to reach this target - be it a contribution of 1,10 or 100 miles each.

As many of you are already aware, our SRP supports autistic children from the age of 4-11 years across the school in providing a safe base, structure, routine and predictability whilst also fully immersing them into the National Curriculum. All our staff are inspired by our little ones resilience, determination and encouragement of one another; bringing joy, love and laughter each and every day. Now we want to give them something back!

We hope that by taking on this challenge, we will be able to raise money to go towards sensory play equipment for the outdoors in which all our children can enjoy.

Just like every step counts - every penny counts too!

Thank you from the Oysters Warriors!
