I’m taking part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride to raise money for Friends of Shenstone. The charity helps fund specialised equipment and support for Shenstone pupils.

My child has special needs, so this is a cause that means a lot to me. I’ve seen first-hand how important the right school, support and environment can be.

I’m hoping to raise money through Friends of Shenstone, which helps fund specialised equipment and support for Shenstone pupils. Funds raised, however small, can make a real difference to the children’s day-to-day education and the support around them.

I also want to say a word about the whole team at Shenstone. The patience, care and dedication this work takes every single day is huge, and it’s obvious the people there do it because they genuinely care.
