A couple of months ago we mentioned to her then if we waited a little bit longer for her first haircut her hair would be long enough to donate to @officiallittleprincesstrust I don’t think she fully understands that a certain type of poorly means your hair falls out but when we explained that her hair could be donated to make a wig for a poorly child she said that would be a nice thing to do.

And so we did, waited till her hair was long enough and although she went into shy mode on the hairdressers was buzzing when we left and wants to tell everyone she’s cut her hair.

I don’t want to ask anyone for money however when @anniesthesalon wouldn’t let me pay for her haircut I set up a justgiving page and rounded up and donated the cost of the haircut if anyone wanted to donate anything it’s eye opening how many man hours it obviously takes to make a wig!

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.

The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
