We are doing a mini-marcothon throughout December 2023 to raise money for Play Alloa - a local charity that provides play and social opportunities for children and young people with additional support needs in Clackmannanshire.

P4 Runners is an informal running club of 4 friends in P4 at Strathdevon Primary School - Rory, Holly, Rhodri and Archie. We meet on a Sunday afternoon and go for wee runs around Dollar.

The challenge is a child-friendly version of the annual Marcothon, a popular challenge where runners run 3 miles or 25 mins a day throughout December. For our P4 runners it will involve us taking it in turns to run (not walk!) 1.5 miles or 20 mins a day throughout December, and yes, that includes Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day! Between us we will cover 46.5 miles in total, that's enough to get us from Dollar to Dundee!
