Story
On the 29th of May a group of 'Pace Setters' will be walking a marathon along the Thames Path to raise funds for and awareness of Motor Neuron Disease.
We continue to support MND as a cause close to the heart of Pace, since Dave Oliver, one of the original Pace Setters, was sadly diagosed with MND 2 years ago. During his years at Pace, Dave was integral to the work we delivered in the aviation and legal sector, and establishing the technology infrastructure at Pace. Even now, whilst Dave is no longer working, and the horrible disease is taking an increased effect on him, he continues to stay close to everyone at Pace and watch as we continue to grow. Although this challenge will see us on our feet for over 12 hours to cover 26 miles, it is nothing by comparison to the challenge that Dave and his family, along with others effected by MND, face on a daily basis.
The Motor Neuron Disease Association looks to improve treatment, support those effected by the disease (directly or indirectly) and eventually, hopefully, find a cure.
Each Pace-Setter has been set a £200 fundraising target - please help us reach our total target of £3000 for this event!
