At P.A.C.E, we try hard each year to put on a fantastic Illuminated Tractor Run in Welshpool, with solely tractors taking part, our aim is to not only give the community a spectacle in the run up to Christmas, but to bring awareness to agricultural charities that may not be as well heard of as others. Considering farming in our area, and nationwide is one job role that never stops and is always to provide for others, we feel that farmers need the recognition more than anything. Our ethos is to raise monies for farming charities each year as a way of giving back. The event is hugely supported by our local farming community and we are very grateful for everything they do. If one single farmer needed the support from our chosen charity then our vision was met. We don't want them suffering in silence, or having too much to handle one day, and our charities each year don't allow that to happen. They offer farmers and their families support in many different ways.

Farming has always been a tough way to make a living but the pressures in farming today are greater than ever. The huge workload, financial challenges, endless decisions to be made, TB in cattle, Brexit, changes to farm support systems…. And all in isolation.

Tir Dewi is here to support farmers and their families with any of these, and more, that may become a problem. Whatever it is and however you got there. Our support is confidential and there is no cost. We will never judge you – we are here to help.
