Story
Hi everyone,
We’re excited (and just a little bit nervous!) to share that we’ll be taking part in a sponsored abseil to raise funds for The Donaldson Trust — a fantastic local charity supporting neurodivergent children, young people, and adults across Scotland.
This challenge is in partnership with our workplace, Pacitti Jones Linlithgow, who are fully behind us… safely on the ground while we head 40 metres up the Port of Leith Distillery in Edinburgh and attempt to come back down in a calm and controlled manner!
The Donaldson Trust does incredible work in our community, providing personalised education, life-skills development, and support that helps people build confidence and feel truly understood. It’s a cause that means a lot to us, which is why we’ve agreed to step (or shuffle very cautiously) over the edge.
On Saturday 9th May, we’ll be facing our fears, trusting the ropes, and trying not to look down too much. It’s definitely outside our comfort zone — but if it helps raise awareness and vital funds, it’s worth every wobbly step!
Any support you can give — whether it’s donating, sharing this post, or simply enjoying the thought of us dangling off a building — would mean the world. Every penny raised will go directly to The Donaldson Trust.
Thank you for supporting us, Pacitti Jones Linlithgow, and this amazing charity. Together, we can make a real difference — one careful step (backwards!) at a time.
