Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
we are a group of friends who are looking to run between 40 & 50 miles in a 24 hour worlds toughest mudder race
Cancer is something that touches almost every family in one way or another. Whether it’s a parent, a sibling, a friend, or even ourselves, the impact is far-reaching and deeply personal. It doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed — it affects everyone around them. Families are forced to navigate emotional stress, financial strain, and the uncertainty of what comes next. Lives are put on hold, routines are disrupted, and moments that should be joyful can become overshadowed by fear and worry.
That’s why we’re raising funds for cancer research. Every donation, no matter how small, contributes to life-saving work. It helps fund clinical trials, develop new therapies, and give hope to families who are facing one of the hardest challenges imaginable.
If cancer has ever touched your life, you understand how important this cause is. And if it hasn’t, supporting this effort means helping protect countless others in the future.
Please consider donating or sharing this page. Together, we can make a difference, support families in need, and move closer to a world where cancer no longer has the power to take so much from so many.
WHAT IS WORLDS TOUGHEST MUDDER?
It’s a 24-hour event where participants run as many laps as they can on a brutal course filled with obstacles. There’s no finish line in the usual sense—the goal is to keep going, pushing your body and mind further than you thought possible. People are battling exhaustion, cold temperatures, and their own limits the whole time. It’s as much mental as it is physical.
What makes it so tough?
• You’re running for up to 24 hours straight
• It often happens in freezing conditions
• You get wet, muddy, and cold… over and over again
• Sleep is basically off the table
Some iconic obstacles:
• Electroshock Therapy – You sprint through hanging wires that deliver electric shocks (yes, it actually zaps you ⚡).
• Arctic Enema – A plunge into an ice-filled water tank where you have to fully submerge and climb out the other side.
• Everest – A huge curved wall that you have to sprint up and rely on others to pull you over the top.
• Funky Monkey – Monkey bars… but way harder, often covered in water or rotating to throw you off.
• Mud Mile – A series of deep mud mounds and trenches that you crawl, climb, and slide
