In October 2023, Charlotte tragically suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm at 39 weeks pregnant. Her baby girl, Olivia, was delivered safely and is now lovingly cared for by her sisters, Alice and Ada. Charlotte sadly passed away five days later, surrounded by her family.

During Charlotte’s time in intensive care, the hospital team provided not only exceptional care, but vital emotional support to her family. In her memory, Charlotte’s family have continued to raise funds for Leeds Hospitals Charity, helping other families facing similar circumstances.

Charlotte’s Rooms has been created to offer a calm, private space within the hospital where families can rest, recharge and take a moment when they need it most—ensuring they can focus on supporting their loved ones with strength and compassion.
