Satyakirti, Amaladasa, Subhahara, Maitranayaka, Oscar, James Cambra, James Mildren, Marc and Sebastion of the Padmaloka Support Team are raising money in support of Guhyaloka for the Ages!

Last year Padmaloka donated £18,000 to Guhyaloka. This year we challenge our friends and donors to match this amount. We aim to raise a further £18,000 by making a pilgrimage to Castle Acre.

This July, the Padmaloka Support Team will walk the 45 miles from Padmaloka to Castle Acre over three days. Castle Acre is a significant place in Padmaloka’s history.

Sangharakshita owned a cottage in this village from 1974 to 1976. Selling this cottage was crucial to establishing Padmaloka in 1976.

We are dedicated to supporting men as they go for refuge to the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha. For many men, ordination courses at Guhyaloka are the culmination of the journey they start at Padmaloka. Our pilgrimage honours that path and supports those men who are yet to walk it.

We wish to secure Guhyaloka’s future as a place of ordination for generations to come.
