Story

The Highland Fling – Supporting The Mallard ❤️

The Mallard is a short-break service for children, providing valuable support to families and giving parents that extra bit of support when they need it.

On 22nd November 2026 at 12pm, my Service Manager Leanne, Team Leader Brian, Children’s Worker Lana, and myself, Senior Children’s Worker Paige, will be taking on the Highland Fling bungee jump to raise money for The Mallard!

We would love for our sponsors, friends, families and anyone who wants to support us to come along on the day and cheer us on!*📣

The money raised will go towards improving the environment, resources and entertainment available for the children who stay at The Mallard. We want to help make their stays as enjoyable, comfortable and memorable as possible, while providing more opportunities for fun, activities and positive experiences.

A bungee jump is definitely outside our comfort zone, with two of our participants facing their fears of heights! 😱 But knowing that we are doing this to support the children and help make a difference makes the challenge completely worth it.

Every donation, big or small, would mean so much to us and will help make a real difference to the children and families who use The Mallard.

If you can't donate, sharing our page or coming along to support us on the day would mean just as much.

Thank you for supporting us, supporting The Mallard, and helping us make a difference! ❤️

Wish us luck! We're definitely going to need it! 😂
