Everest Challenge · 1 January 2025

Les Bourgs Hospice provides complex respite & symptom management as well as end of life care & bereavement support. We have seen an increase in demand for our services due to a complexity of life limiting illnesses so every donation makes a significant difference to the care that we can offer.

Story

I’ve wanted to take on this challenge for a few years but I’ve lacked motivation- until now…

It’s going to be the kick start I need to get more active and improve my fitness, joined by my son Ruari Cicmic and friend Linda Tostevin we are the Pajos Pantry Team (my new business venture!)

Les Bourgs Hospice has always been a charity I support having seen their incredible work when Jack (my husband) lost his auntie - Mue Pengelley (who worked for Specsavers from day dot)

More recently they supported the Ward family when they sadly lost Suzanne Ward, a kind hearted caring mother to Cody and Chloe and wife to Simon - seeing them suffer this tragic loss has been heartbreaking and I want to give something back to this fantastic charity in memory of Sues and Mue
