The children in the orphanage that we support in the Congo, have been through some of the most traumatic events in conflict. No child should have to experience this. Despite the challenges that they face, they are happy, positive and hopeful for the future. The threat of war no looms over them again and they are facing increasing challenges, as access to food becomes scarce, due to road blockages caused by a Rwandan rebel group called the M23, threatening to attack, invade and occupy the city called Goma where the orphanage is based.
