Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am thrilled to be fundraising for the BRIGHT campaign, which is dedicated to improving the lives of people with cancer and raising funds for much needed equipment.

With your support, we can make a real difference. My goal is to raise £3000 for this worthy cause. Every penny counts and will go towards funding vital research, providing much-needed support services, and ultimately helping beat cancer.

BRIGHT funds ongoing research into improving treatment options and outcomes for patients and through the purchase of new equipment for a whole range of GI and HPB cancer treatments, including surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiotherapy and other advanced treatments.BRIGHT supports the clinical and research work of cancer specialists at St Luke’s Cancer Centre and the Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery Unit, both based at the Royal Surrey County Hospital (RSCH) in Guildford.

Both my oncologist and my liver surgeon who helped me beat cancer were 2 of the original patrons of this charity so I would like to help them by choosing BRIGHT as the charity for my year as President. All donations will be gratefully received. Thank you for supporting this very worthwhile cause.
