Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My beautiful daughter Cailin was first seen in Birmingham Womens’ Hospital Genetics clinic in 2003 but it was only in 2022 that she finally received a diagnosis for the numerous difficulties she has. The diagnosis she has been given is USP7 Hao Fountain Syndrome and to date there are only 254 people diagnosed with this condition worldwide.
Cailin is now a beautiful, strong, determined woman with a sense of purpose - to raise awareness of this condition and raise funds to support those living with rare conditions . Being RARE doesn’t mean being quiet : it means being confident , being strong, being fierce and being heard.
Hao Fountain Syndrome affects everyone in different ways and in different levels of severity : it can be very debilitating, painful, isolating and make everyday life and everyday tasks very difficult. For those of you who know Cailin, you will be aware of the challenges she faces daily and that despite this, she is always smiling. She loves her volunteering and is always doing acts of kindness for others.
