1 in 8 local women may get breast cancer in their lifetime. That’s a huge number. It could be your mum, sister, grandmother, friend, classmate, or colleague. This year another beautiful friend, my dear Fiona Johnston, was impacted by Breast cancer. Cancer Focus NI is one of charities helping her during this time of treatment and will continue to help her in the coming months

On average, another 124 women receive a breast diagnosis each month right here in Northern Ireland. It is vital that our charity is there to provide the best possible support for women no matter what stage of their breast cancer journey they are on. At work, school, or home, you can fundraise to help make a massive difference to the lives of women across Northern Ireland.

Just £58 could pay for one-hour of breast cancer support at any of our specialist services such as Counselling, Family Support, Bra and Swimwear Fitting, and Support Groups.

And remember, for every £1 you raise, our charity will invest 80 pence directly towards the delivery of our local cancer services.
