Story
We are Dog Crew International
Thailand has an estimated 8.5 to 10 million street dogs. Between 100,000 and 300,000 are in Bangkok alone, and there are thousands on Koh Samui.
Neutering is what changes that. It controls the population, stops puppy numbers spiralling, and means the dogs already here can be properly cared for. That's Niall Harbison's mission, and he's taking it across the whole of Thailand.
He made a promise to Tina as she lay dying — that he would build a hospital for dogs who weren't doing so good. On Sunday 13th September, surrounded by his supporters and members of our Dog Crew International, he finished an incredible challenge and raised over $1.5 million to make that hospital a reality.
But the truth is, it doesn't stop there. The hospital will need funding to run. There's an education programme to support, and a Catch, Vaccinate, Neuter, Return programme being rolled out across Thailand — with the team expanding and now working alongside the Thai Government to make it really effective. We want to help fund all of it.
Dog lovers from all over the world, brought together to support Niall and Happy Doggo. What started as a handful of us is now a committed Crew who have already raised over £10,000. We fundraise through events, donations and a whole host of fun activities — and what we raise goes wherever Happy Doggo needs it most. We're just glad to be able to help and YOU can be part of it all.
Our £25,000 target means a Dog Crew International plaque at the Land, supporting all the Happy Doggo dogs. We fundraise with integrity and honesty and we think it is important that you can see what we raise and exactly where your money is going, so transparency and accountability are central to how we operate.
Join us in hitting the target — and support Happy Doggo in any way you can.
