Hoofing around at the Haworth Hobble, fundraising for Sue Ryder

Haworth Hobble Ultra-marathon · 8 March 2025
We are back!
This time the tandem has been left at the stables; our hooves have been trimmed in preparation; and we have been whipped into action in readiness for our next challenge.
2025's challenge is the Haworth Hobble: an ultra-marathon fell race! Yes, you read that right, Pantopony is now gearing up for 32 miles of fell-running fun, all in aid of the amazing Manorlands Hospice in Oxenhope, West Yorkshire. PantoPony took part in a few Parkruns in the lead up to the Pier-2-Pier challenge, and has also completed the Auld Lang Syne fell race on Penistone, Haworth, twice. So we know Pantopony can run 7 miles, surely the pony can run almost 5 times as far!
The fundraising target this time is £3200, equating to £100 per mile. It would be truly amazing to reach this target, if not smash it, but every little helps, so thankyou from the bottom of our hearts, if you choose to donate and sponsor the PantoPony!
Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with Sue Ryder's support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. They are there when it matters.
