Story
Hello to old friends who are probably thinking “Oh Paola… not another sporting challenge”, and to new friends who haven’t yet had the pleasure of being gently harassed for a good cause.
Recently I had a reunion with my cycling buddies in London and something dangerous happened: I remembered how much I love my bike. So obviously the sensible thing to do was to sign up for three days of cycling up and down the Sierras in Andalusia.
Life has been wonderful but very full over the past few years. We moved to Cambridge, I changed jobs, and we’ve been busy raising two adorable little people. Between work, family life, and everything else, finding time to train is not exactly easy — but this challenge is the perfect excuse to get back in the saddle.
In 2026, I will cycle through Andalusia, Spain on a 3 day endurance challenge challenge to raise money for Club Peloton and its supported charitable project, Coram - the UK's first and longest-serving children's charity.
As part of registering for the ride, I’ve committed to raising funds for Coram, the UK’s oldest children’s charity. Coram does incredible work supporting tirelessly families before, during and after adoption for children who need families and supporting adoptive parents along the way, including with legal advice and support.
So here comes the part where I ask for your help.
If you can spare a few pounds, please consider donating to this page. Every contribution will help me reach my fundraising target — and will definitely motivate me to get out on the bike when the British weather (and my sofa) are trying to convince me otherwise.
Thank you so much for supporting both the cause and my tendency of throwing myself to do things.
