Story
Hi everyone,
This May, I'll be running the Milton Keynes Marathon, and thought it an ideal opportunity to try to raise funds for a fantastic local charity. Namely, Tibbs Dementia Foundation!
Dementia, in its various forms, has become an evermore pervasive problem, with estimates suggesting that by 2030 the number of people with the dementia in the UK will exceed 1 million. The reality is that most of us know someone who struggles, or has struggled, with dementia to some extent, and have seen firsthand the impact it can have on their quality of life.
For so many people living with dementia, aspects of daily life that most of us take for granted can become obstacles that require careful navigation.
I'm thrilled therefore to be supporting Tibbs, who, through their offering of groups, activities, and services, are committed to helping those in all stages of dementia.
"Our aim is to help people to live the best life possible through our inclusive and holistic approach. As a person with dementia recently said, 'Tibbs is helping me to be myself for as long as possible'."
I'd encourage you to spare a few minutes to have a read of Tibbs' website, to learn a little about the great work they do. And if, in addition, you would like to leave a donation of any size, I would be tremendously grateful.

Any donation you can give will help them to continue their incredible work, and will spur me on throughout the remainder of my training!
Thanks for reading,
Paolo
