This Friday, 6 March 2026, we are excited to host a special charity fundraising day in celebration of International Women's Day. We invite everyone to join us in this meaningful endeavour.

This year, we are raising funds for two incredible organisations that are making a significant impact in our communities: Lancashire Women and Manchester Women's Aid. These charities provide essential support, advocacy, and safe spaces for women facing challenging circumstances, helping create stronger, safer futures.

What’s Happening on the Day? We have planned a range of fun and meaningful activities to help us raise as much as possible:

🍰 Bake Sale: We are looking for volunteers to bake or bring along sweet treats to sell on the day. Whether it's homemade favourites or shop-bought goodies, every contribution helps.

☕ Hot Chocolate Station: Everything will be provided—think whipped cream, marshmallows, and all the toppings. Simply come along, enjoy a cup, and make a donation if you can.

🍬 Guess the Sweets in the Jar: Take your best guess for a chance to win while supporting a fantastic cause.

💜 Dress Down Day: Swap your usual workwear for PJs, cosy loungewear, or anything purple to show your support for International Women’s Day.

We aim to raise £50. Your participation and generosity can make a real difference in the lives of women who need our support now more than ever. Together, let’s create an atmosphere of hope and empowerment!
