Paradigm Mortgages, Protection and Compliance is raising money for Trussell
Story
We are delighted to confirm that for a seventh year, we will once again be doing a Reverse Advent initiative, as a way of giving back to those less fortunate and in support of the Trussell network of food banks.
Between 1 April 2023 and 31 March 2024, Trussell food banks distributed:
- Over 3.1 million emergency food parcels to people in crisis
- This is an increase of 94% compared to five years ago
- 655,000 used a food bank for first time during this period
- 1.1 million emergency food parcels went to children
This is the highest number of parcels that the network has ever distributed in a single year.
As it has worked successfully in recent years, we have two options again this year: we’ll be asking everyone to make collections of non-perishable food at home and arrange to drop these off at a local drop-off point, or to consider making a financial donation.
