Story
I'm asking for donations for Daisy seeds so when these bloom we can remember our very own Daisy. These are Oxeye daisies, the classic wildflowers, with white petals and golden centres.
Planting Care:
- Sow outdoors only
- Plant in spring (after the last frost) or autumn
- Lightly cover with soil
- Grows best in full sun with good drainage
Thank you so much for your support — every donation makes a difference and helps keep Daisy’s legacy growing 🌼
(Suggested Donation £5)
My new fundraiser is to support UCHL charity into further research into HLH (Haemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis). This is a rare and server condition where the immune system becomes overactive, causing white blood cells to attack the body's own tissues and blood cells, leading to widespread inflammation, organ damage, and potentially multi-organ failure. Because HLH is so rare, it is often mistaken for a severe infection, making early and accurate diagnosis extremely difficult. Increased research and awareness are urgently needed.
Daisy was such an amazing, positive, caring, powerhouse of a woman. Even through her darkest days, she never lost her sense of humour, and we were laughing and joking right until the end. It's important to take a step back and reflect at times and be grateful for the little things in life. 💛

---------------------------------------------------
I took part in my first half marathon in October 2025 to raise awareness of HLH and to help with further research we hope can help others that are in Daisy's situation. Though I was almost 17 weeks pregnant I was determined to do this and Daisy pushed me throughout to complete this challenge.
Any donations are greatly appreciated and will be going towards research to understand this complex disease.

On 22/02 at 10am our very own angel "Dazzler" was taken from us when she developed HLH following an infection.
We had never even heard of this rare, horribly aggressive disease which unfortunately had fatal consequences.
Following the passing of our beloved Daisy May Catterall we will be raising as much money as possible for the University College London Hospitals Charity UK. 100% of the money raised will go directly into funding the research into HLH and will hopefully help any future patients in her position.
Being just 25 years of age and a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister and partner we are all heartbroken. We hope that by taking a positive approach and throwing ourselves into fundraising, this will give us some sort of comfort moving forward.
Any donations are greatly appreciated and no matter how big or small , they will make a monumental impact.
Do It For Daisy ! Xx
