Supports Victims of Crime, Domestic Abuse, Witnesses, their family and friends and those affected by Fatal Road Traffic Collisions. At the very worst time of their lives, we aim to give the very best service.

Story

A team of us from the Therapies department at Nobles’ Hospital are doing the Parish Walk in memory of our friend and colleague, Phill Quayle, who took his own life in April last year. Phill was our valued colleague and close friend. He was a support to all of us and we miss him greatly every day. Phill helped so many people, both patients and staff, with his work as a respiratory physiotherapist, and was well known across the whole hospital. As well as being incredibly knowledgable, he was the most humble, kind and generous man. We miss him so much.

We have decided to do the Parish Walk to raise money as Phill was a keen walker. He enjoyed any type of exercise and walking in particular. Anyone who had to walk with him down the corridor at Nobles knows just how speedy he could be! It seems fitting to raise funds for his chosen charity doing something he loved.

After Phill’s death, his family and friends pledged to donate £10,000 to his chosen charity, Victim Support, matching Phill’s own pledge to the charity. This charity was clearly close to Phill’s heart and it does great work here in the Isle of Man, providing emotional and moral support for victims of many offences with its invaluable work.

We really appreciate any donations in memory of our gorgeous Phill. Thank you ❤️
