Having completed our challenge last year of cycling from London to Paris and raising over 7 times the target we set for our Just Giving page, we plan to continue where we left off this summer.

Our finish line this year will be Cologne, which is a mere 325 miles from Paris, almost twice the distance as the previous year and triple the incline. This will prove a difficult but scenic cycle, traversing mountainous regions and river valleys through 4 countries over the course of 5 days. Hopefully this time with fewer breakdowns but we welcome the challenge and look forward to another amazing trip.

We have again chosen to raise money for The Lighthouse, Perth with an even closer connection to the charity as our close friend and 1 of the 10 who completed the journey last time round sadly took his own life earlier this year. This has had an impact on us all and will make this year’s trip an even more challenging and emotional affair. It goes without saying that this year won’t feel the same however it will be done in memory of Craig.
